Privacy Policy

The Growing Disciple provides free Christian discipleship teaching, including the Growing in Grace curriculum, and tools for tracking course progress. This policy explains what information is collected when you create or use an account.

Information We Collect

We collect the name and email address associated with your account. If you sign in with Google, Google provides basic account identity information such as your name and email address. We also store your lesson activity, completion status, and most recently visited lesson.

We also collect basic website activity such as page views, lesson views, handout downloads, video clicks, referring website domains, and anonymous session identifiers. We do not intentionally store raw IP addresses or full referring URLs in the analytics dashboard.

How We Use Information

We use this information to authenticate your account, personalize your dashboard, save lesson progress, provide account support, and maintain the security and reliability of the curriculum platform. We do not sell your personal information.

Service Providers

Account authentication and curriculum progress are processed using Supabase. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. The website is hosted through Netlify. These providers may process limited information as necessary to deliver their services.

Data Retention and Your Choices

Account and lesson information is retained while your account is active. You may stop using Google sign-in, revoke The Growing Disciple access through your Google Account, or request deletion of your The Growing Disciple account and associated progress information.

Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards and established service providers to protect account information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
