Dr. Andrew T. Burggraff is a pastor, professor, author, and discipleship leader with more than two decades of experience in local-church ministry and theological education. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies from Maranatha University, a Master of Divinity from Calvary Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Education from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Dr. Burggraff has served as a senior pastor, Christian school superintendent, discipleship pastor, hospital chaplain, and Director of Discipleship for an international ministry serving East Africa. His ministry has taken him to Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi, where he has trained pastors, taught in churches, and preached in prisons.

Since 2012, he has taught Christian education and spiritual formation at Shepherds Theological Seminary. His areas of specialization include discipleship, Christian education, apologetics and evangelism, pastoral care, and Bible exposition. He has also contributed peer-reviewed scholarship to the Christian Education Journal and reference works on Christian education and church history.

As the author of Growing in Grace, Discipleship in the Early Church, and Discipleship Today, Dr. Burggraff brings together biblical scholarship, pastoral experience, and a deeply practical concern for the local church. His work is devoted to helping believers grow toward maturity in Christ and equipping churches to cultivate intentional, relationship-centered discipleship.
